A former Head in two successful primary schools, David Raven-Hill is a well respected educationalist who has taught in Sussex, Cambridgeshire, Cumbria and Kirklees and been judged "outstanding" by Ofsted. As a local authority School Improvement Officer and School Improvement Partner (SIP) he has extensive experience of supporting schools to improve outcomes for pupils.
David believes in inclusive education with equalities and human rights at the heart. He has a passion for leadership development, school cluster and partnership working and transformational change through whole school improvement.
He has led the development of community cohesion, Prevent, interfaith understanding and RE both locally and regionally. He set up and the partnership resulting in the nationally recognised award-winning Interfaith Kirklees (Schools), he sits on the national executive of the Association of RE Inspectors, Advisers and Consultants, and contributes to national strategy. He helped to develop an extensive school linking programme across the district and as a result has been commissioned to write national resources around critical literacy and controversial issues.
